Pros and cons of Detective Sherlock Holmes - Hidden Objects app for iPhone and iPad
Detective Sherlock Holmes - Hidden Objects app good for
I am really enjoying this game. Some of the objects are really hard to find and challenging. I dont really care if there is a story line. When you factor in the cost of some of the computer games that we pay for, the cost of Apps is really cheap. I certainly feel I got more than my moneys worth in this game. Thank you to the developers for your hard work.
This game makes you think about the objects. Cleverly hidden and fun.
Fun game. Some articles hard to find but that just makes it interesting,
I have completed all the levels but have not been told i have completed the game ...... wanting to know what else to do? there is no instructions on what to do
Each level has different types of searches and puzzles. Unlike other games, this one doesnt get boring after a few levels. Awesome!
It s a very nice finding it game , very intriguing and many items are difficult to find. Amusing!
Some bad moments
graphics no good, music no good, storyline no good. played it through in 20 min. not worth the money
Even for $0.99 I expect A LOT more content than this! It looks, plays and feels like a VERY lite version. There ARE games out there for this price that do have about 5x more content. I was done with it in one hour of on/off play! This should be free.
There are 7 rooms/areas to search, but each has only 10 objects(or pairs of objects, or differences to find - depending on the area). Granted, some games do not have a lot of areas to search, but the game/storyline often takes you through them several times in order to find different objects each time, so the play feels longer. Its not like that here. Sure, you can go back and search the same rooms again (for different objects) but not because its part of the storyline or needed to solve a mystery, but rather in case you feel like searching the same areas again. The game just takes you through 7 areas and thats it. There really is no storyline here and whatever "it" is, is not relevant to the searches.
The official game description above says "Find evidences, investigate tough cases! Help Sherlock Holmes and Dr.Watson solve challenging puzzles and explore the beautiful fictional world in this exciting adventure!" Am I missing something? What tough cases? There arent any. What there actually is I can not even classify as a case. In a case you learn facts, gather evidence and come to conclusions, solutions, find perpetrators, etc. Not so here. In level 1 it just says "Crime of the century. Most interesting item of the castle has been stolen. Sherlock Holmes and Watson take this case", then you find 10 items. What is that most interesting item in the castle? We never learn. Then in the very next room/level 2 it says: "First evidence was found. The case seems to be much more tougher than it looked." What first evidence? And so on. In the end, we never find out who the perpetrators are and what they stole. There are also zero challenging puzzles, IMHO. Beside finding the objects/pairs of objects/differences between objects, there arent any other puzzles. Im very disappointed in this "game".
Objects are not hidden very well and are either very obvious or impossible to see. Content is way too light and over very quickly. Waste of money even at .99 cents.
This game isnt the worst game Ive played, but I wouldnt pay much more for it!
Wasnt the greatest hidden game. Objects were hidden behind others with not enough showing to even guess what it was. No story line. Has some potential but needs improving. Update PLEASE!
I was bewildered a bit at this game, because I had a bit of trouble with the first level. Some of the items were quite obtusely hidden, but I then breezed on through the other levels. Come on, guys, give us something neither so difficult nor so simple. A very disappointed Sherlock Holmes fan.
